Khalid’s Corner: What You Win When You Lose

By Khalid Elahi

After losing only four football games in six years as a coach, I’ve lost two games in the last two weeks. It made me realize that sometimes you learn more from losses than wins. Losses give you a chance to see what is working and what isn’t working. You learn how much more work you must put out in order to be on the winning side of things. It’s a good feeling to win, but it feels even better to start from nothing and then turn into something because of hard work and dedication. Hold your head up. You can do it. You can be great and if you really believe, then you can be anything you want to be.
